It just turned Friday here in New York City and all these New Year quitters reclaiming their lives has gotten me in the mood for a parade.
So let's haiku!
Haiku is a Japanese poetry form - 3 lines of 5, 7 and 5 syllables.
I'll start:
Winter cold and bright
No addict huddle for me
Cherish my freedom
Come on one and all - newbies in particular encouraged to strut their fine stuff! Claim that quit! Celebrate another day lived free!
(By the way, any member, old or new, can start the day's parade, be it plain or fancy - just step on up and lead the stats march down Freedom Street!)
Happy Freedom Friday!
Your quit sister,
Alyson
Celebrating 927 days lived free of nicotine one day at a time, with nearly 24000 (TWENTY-FOUR THOUSAND) death sticks denied and over $6000 to spend how I choose.
