10/02/09 02:54	Tags : None A "Never Take Another Puff" milestone! Downloads of Joel's book Never Take Another Puff just hit a major milestone .... its two millionth download! We need to create a milestone article to share with the world and I thought, what better way to tell about the book's significance than to invite all who have read it to share its importance to them. It's my hope that the article itself will cause others to want to feel and experience the power of knowledge. If you're a visitor, non-posting regular, or posting member who would like to share a few short quotes on the significance of Joel's book in your recovery and life, please either email them to john@whyquit.com or post them below. 10/03/09 06:00	Joel,I'm not sure if I can express how much of a help your book and videos have been in my quit.The information is soooo clear and to the point.I am passing your book on to my cardiologist.My last visit to her was not very good I have heart failure and COPD and am the very last person that should smoke.I had quit for a year and had a puff not knowing that the one puff would light up the receptors of the nicotine addiction again..I found your web site and started to read and read.Wow how clear it is.I have NOT had another puff since my 1st stop at your site.THANKS SOOO MUCH.

10/03/09 09:14	My name's Katy, and I live in a suburb of Philadelphia, PA. Joel's eBook is the ONLY thing that made it possible for me to quit smoking. After 31 years of nicotine addiction (and, I might add, numerous failed attempts to quit with the nicotine patch, the nicotine gum, the nicotine inhaler, hypnosis, acupuncture, Chantix, Zyban, and "cutting down"), I quit cold turkey a little over 2 months ago. Two months may not sound like a long time, but it's the longest I've managed to live without smoking since I was 14 years old. This is a wondrous, wondrous thing! Joel's eBook, and this website too, are saving my life. I have every intention of keeping this quit going - for the rest of my smoke-free life! I recently went shopping for a new purse. I made sure to get one that's big enough to accommodate the articles I've printed out from the eBook and the quotes that really resonated with me - I wrote them down in a special "Quit Wisdom" notebook that is always with me. Thank you Joel. A thousand times, thank you.

I finally came across NEVER TAKE ANOTHER PUFF, downloaded it, read it and never took another puff! This is the best thing that has happened in my life, ever! I turned silver without noticing really and am now well into month 9. I've never looked back and I know I never will. Reading NEVER TAKE ANOTHER PUFF saved my life. Thank you Joel for opening my eyes. No words can express how grateful I am. All you out there, just keep one single thing in mind: NEVER TAKE ANOTHER PUFF! Phil

10/04/09 07:41	Hi, My name is Kim. I live in the Niagara region, Ontario. Have been a hard core smoker for about 31 years. I have quit smoking maybe 15 or so times, always using a NRT and always went back to it. The difference this time was all of the knowledge/education I have learned from Joel and his writing. When I first discovered his videos and articles it was 4 hours later and I was still reading. I am on day 14 and I have to say if I hadn't found Joel's words of wisdom I would still be smoking. I have many quotes from Joel that I have put to permanent memory, and which have saved me a few times from picking up a cigarette,one of them is that when I think about wanting to smoke again, remembering how good it was (not). I have to remember accurately. That is to say even though I think I might just want one, I have to be prepared if I smoke that one to smoke all of the others that come with that one, and so far I don't want all of the rest. I can smoke none, or I can smoke everything. It is just that simple. He has opened my eyes with that fact. The fantasy of being able to smoke just one cigarette is just that, a fantasy, it can never happen. For I am a drug addict and my choice of drug was nicotene. I have learned from this site that we are not stronger than nicotene, but nicotene has an IQ of 0, so lets use are minds to take back our life. Isn't it time to outsmart the bully. Thank you Joel for saving my husband and my life!

The wisdom found in the pages of the NTAP ebook helped shine a big light on my addiction. I was a moist cannned tobacco "dipper" and the methods are the same for any nicotine product. 10/13/09 02:49	I downloaded Joel's book on the second day of my first (and only) quit after 38 years of smoking a pack or two a day. I wasn't planning to quit, just had a bad cold and a sore throat that made it hurt to smoke, so I tried a little game -- go 24 hours without smoking for the first time since Richard Nixon was President. That's when I made the mistake of downloadiing Joel's book. As I learned about my nicotine drug addiction, it was llike a door opening for me. No more guilt about smoking. No more self-delusion about enjoying it, either. Just the simple truth about a drug addiciton that traps us when we are teenagers and won't let go until somehow we figure out the simple secrets: a) To stop smoking, you simply have to make a commitment to never take another puff. End of story. Everything else takes care of itself. b) The only people who crave cigarettes are nicotine addicts. Once you break the active addiction and become an ex-smoker, the craves go away. It was one year and eight months ago yesterday that I took my last puff and spent the following two weeks devouring Joel's book, Joel's videos, and the educational materials on www.whyquit.com. I now know that education is the key to removiing the ball n' chain of nicotine addiction. Thanks Joel!

I went from 4 packs a day to zero and still after 3 years free from nicotine when I see people smoking I think about the book and the site of Joel and thank God I was so lucky to find the book and the site and the people here to get my life back.
